GDI Engineer

Below is our updated GDI Engineer.

Image

Tactical use of the engineer is considered an art among many commanders. The unit has multiple purposes, it is one of the only two units able to repair buildings. They're also armed with more Timed C4 to aid in the destruction of enemy structures and Proximity Mines to help defend friendly areas.

Then compared with the old model.

Well looks much better.
Is this already available for testers what you post as updates on the main page or will it only be available later if the vehicle beta is out already?

Nice engineer!

One thing though:
Bomb Specialists are the ones with Proximity mines, not Engineers. Engineers just have additional remote C4.

Think that line might hint at the end of the DD and BS?

Beautiful model btw. It actually has pockets to hold things now.

no sorry. Mapping for fps is very time consuming and youve high requirements which I couldnt arrange. (lightmapping, VIS)
ive started my study this summer, which has priority.

the textures on that engi model just give the feeling of much more polys. Nice work

Would you share your map sources, textures and models? I tried to get them but the link didn't work.

Let me guess... the typical Bomber sound of Renegade? this "screaming" like noise of old bombs?
